Rug Hooking with
Dolores Breau
Dolores Breau, our artist-in-residence for August, is offering free Punch Needle sessions. The sessions are 2 to 4 hours in duration. Participants leave with their completed projects.
Punch needle is an easy technique that resembles traditional rug hooking but is done with yarn on monk's cloth.
The classes are free and all materials are provided on site for the sessions.
Classes take place in the lobby of the Rendez-vous de la Baie, 23 Lighthouse Road, Church Point, NS.
An exhibition of 27 artworks made using Punch Needle and traditional rug hooking techniques is currently on display at Rendez-vous de la Baie and at Galerie LE TRÉCARRÉ.
Limit of 5 people per class.
