Polyester plate lithography is an accessible, non-toxic alternative to traditional stone lithography. Inexpensive and remarkably versatile, it allows artists to translate both direct hand-drawn marks and digital, laser-printed designs onto plates for printing.
This workshop is ideal for both emerging and professional artists. Whether you are an experienced printmaker looking to integrate a non-toxic method into your studio practice, or a beginner seeking a welcoming entry point into printmaking, this course provides a strong foundational setup. Prior printmaking experience is helpful but not required.
Founder of the Atelier Mille-Feuilles print studio in Rouyn-Noranda, QC, Joanne brings over 40 years of master printmaking experience to our community. She will be at La Manivelle throughout the month of October for a four-week artist residency and will be showing her work in a solo exhibition at Galerie Le Trécarré, opening on Saturday, October 17 at 3:00 pm.
