This five-week beginner course, led by Diane Nadon, explores the foundations of watercolour, from composition to colour theory. You will learn to master water management and how to choose your papers and brushes. Diane will guide you through mixing methods and techniques like wet-on-wet to bring your artwork to life. Some materials are provided for the first class but participants are expected to have their own materials. Diane has put together a complete kit including covered palette, brushes, paints and paper which can be pre-ordered for $80.

Originally from Quebec and now living in the Clare region, Diane Nadon draws inspiration from the vitality of nature. She specializes in creating watercolour landscapes and flowers, a technique that allows her to play with transparency and light.
